Hopefully this note finds you healthy and enjoying the beautiful winter weather and looking forward to the warm days of spring. With spring comes the anticipation of the always fun and successful Girls Just Wanna Run 2024 race. A tradition among locals and avid runners from the area. Unfortunately, The Junior Women’s Club of Litchfield Hill’s, the race's originator, has disbanded, but fortunately for the Town of Litchfield Park and Recreation Department, we have been asked to continue the race and carry on their mission of helping those in need in our community. We will be co-hosting this year’s event with local, non-profit charity, The Bantam Sunshine Fund whose mission is the same and is deeply rooted in the community, helping those in need who are experiencing financial hardships. Together, we will honor the hard work of the Junior Women's Club and continue the mission.

We hope that you will help our fundraising efforts by sponsoring the 2024 Girls Just Wanna Run 5K race. Your contribution will help offset our race expenses, ensuring that every runner’s donation goes directly to families in need. Race overhead is minimal and after expenses your donation will directly aid families in need and support. Please see the attached Sponsorship Proposal for ways you can help.

The race has grown in the past 14 years which means we, as a community, can help more people with each “Girls Just Wanna Run” event. We were most grateful to all of our supporters of the race last year and wonder if you would consider becoming a sponsor this year? Below, please find our 2024 Partnership Proposal. We hope, that with your help, we can continue to be as successful as in years past.
